Every year on the third Sunday in November, the famous Hospices de Beaune Wine Auction takes place.
For this occasion, Maison Patriarche organizes a special tasting on Saturday and Sunday, where exceptional wines and old vintages
are offered to visitors.
In 2025, Burgundy celebrates the 10th anniversary of the inscription of the Climats of Burgundy on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Maison Patriarche, as a founding patron of the Climats association, wanted to be part of this anniversary year. Thus, 30 years after the closure of its last "caveau" (cellar), one of the historic cellars of the Couvent des Sœurs de la Visitation will be sealed for the next 10 years, containing 972 bottles and 60 magnums of the 2015 vintage, representative of the finest climats of our two Côtes.
By invitation only, this closing ceremony will take place on Friday, November 14th, 2025. However, you will not only be able to admire this Caveau des 10 ans during the tour, but also, and above all, taste two of the bottles that will be sealed away!
Once again this year, during your visit you will be able to enjoy:
- around fifteen works by contemporary artists, to be discovered
during the cellar tour (in partnership with Art in Situ).
- exhibition of the Cave aux Arômes, a visual and olfactory representation of the 12 aromatic families of Burgundy wines.
